Tauba Auerbach’s ‘RGB Colorspace Atlas’ Depicts Every Color Digitally Imaginable

A perfect cube with a seamless gradient, the “RGB Colorspace Atlas” by Tauba Auerbach is a massive tome that spans the entirety of the digital color spectrum.

The bold book contains offset prints of every variation possible within the RGB (red, green, blue) color model, which is rooted in how human eyesight perceives three primary channels. Because Auerbach’s book is digitally printed, it’s further bound by the rules of electronic devices and screens, making it a stunning three-dimensional version of a Photoshop color picker.

At 8 x 8 x 8 inches, the book was co-designed by Daniel E. Kelm and bound with assistance from Leah Hughes. Find more from Auerbach on her website.
